Rimmel Fresher Skin Foundation

Hi everyone! It actually has been so long since I did a foundation review, I feel like I've just been returning to old favourites quite a lot rather than trying new products. However Rimmel recently released a new foundation which I thought looked so interesting so I decided to give it a try. I've never actually tried a Rimmel foundation before and I have very little experience with their products so I bought their Fresher Skin foundation with no idea what to expect, other than reading a few reviews online which were all pretty positive. 

This products claims to be a 'revolution in light weight foundation' that offers 'light, breathable coverage for an even, natural looking finish that stays shine free all day'. I'm so much more into lightweight foundations with a natural finish rather than full coverage, so this sounded perfect for me. I also choose a dewy finish over matte any day plus I love the idea of having fresher looking skin. One downside right off the bat though which I know will annoy quite a few people is that there is only 6 shades, with the darkest shade being natural beige so this will not cater to all skin tones. I wear the second lightest shade which is 100 Ivory, I'd read that this can oxidize so I got a shade on the lighter side but it turned out to be a really good match for me anyway.

One of the most interesting things about this product is definitely the packaging, as it comes in a small jar almost similar to how the Dream Matte Mousse product comes however this is not a mousse product, I would say it's similar to a gel when you first apply it and then it blends out similarly to a liquid foundation. I feel like a lot of people won't like this packaging because they hate having to dab their fingers in and apply the product straight to their face, I personally don't mind this and one bonus of having packaging like this is that you will be able to use every single drop of product, not like foundation in a bottle when you can't get the last few drops out. Plus you can see exactly how much product is left which you can't really do with a bottle foundation. 

You can see from the swatch that it's actually got a very runny formula, and doesn't have the most coverage. I would say it's light to medium if you build it up. I actually love the texture though, it is similar to a gel when you first apply it and it feels really cooling on the skin. It also has a very fresh scent which I personally really like. I've been apply this with a buffing brush as I feel like a sponge would absorb too much product with this formula, the only downside is that it takes a bit of work to apply as it can be fairly streaky at first but I love the finish of it once blended out! I feel like it is really dewy and definitely fresh looking, obviously it doesn't cover all blemishes as it is a natural finish but for a lightweight foundation this is one of my new favourites. 

At this time of year when I don't want to be a dewy as in the summer, I do apply powder with this, however I can't wait to take this on holiday for a really dewy healthy finish especially with a tan! I bought this from Boots for £7.49 which is really affordable, it does have slightly less product than the standard 30ml foundations with 25ml instead but for the price it's still really good value plus I love the finish of it. I've been using this a lot since I bought it especially when my skin is looking really dull, I think I'll get a lot of use out of this. Vichy Dermablend 3D Correction Foundation

Hi everyone! So happy that I can finally say I finished my last exam on Tuesday and I am officially no longer a university student! It's absolutely crazy to think I've finished my degree after all the stress, but three years has gone so quickly and I am just so relieved that I've actually done it! Now I feel like I can finally concentrate on my blog more which makes me so happy, it's so awful feeling like you've neglected something you enjoy so much. Anyway I'm so glad I'm doing a foundation review, I haven't done one in what feels like ages, I've had really good experiences with Vichy products recently so when they kindly sent me their 3D Correction foundation* to try I was so excited!

I really loved their Dermablend Fluid foundation formula, but this one is so different. This foundation claims to instantly correct colour and skin texture and reduce the appearance of imperfections without leaving a mask like effect. This sounded so good for me because I have uneven skin pigmentation and texture on my lower cheeks and I have never found a foundation that has helped with the appearance of that where it made a major difference. Baring in mind I do have dry skin so when I come across a foundation that promises to mask skin imperfections but it has a matte finish I'm always a bit worried that it will just dry my skin out and look flaky and gross, but thankfully this wasn't the case! I have mine in the shade 15 Opal by the way which I believe is the lightest shade of this foundation, when you see it swatched below it looks so much darker than it actually is when blended out, trust me I am so pale at the minute and this matched me so well! The only thing is I feel like the undertones are quite pink whereas I am more neutral, this was the only small issue I had with the shade but it isn't even noticeable. 

The packaging and the applicator for this foundation is so interesting, I really love the squeeze tube because you can get all the product out, but the actual nozzle (I think that's what it's called...?) where the foundation comes out is nothing that I've ever seen before. I'm guessing it's because the foundation is very thick but I actually really like it because it's so clean, sometimes with squeeze tubes they can be a bit messy and product doesn't go everywhere but that isn't the case with this one. I feel like this is perfect travel size and you know it isn't going to explode everywhere which is honestly my worst nightmare, I had a conditioner explode once in my suitcase and it was the worst experience so I can't imagine how bad it is with a foundation.

You can see here how thick the foundation is, I was actually really intimidated when I first swatched it because it has an almost clay like texture and I was worried it wouldn't blend and would just dry my skin out, but honestly when you start blending it it's so soft and easy to work with which I didn't expect at all. With the matte finish I found that it didn't leave my skin looking dry, I just made sure to use any form of moisturising primer just in case and I had no issues at all. My favourite thing about this product though is definitely the coverage, I had to many spots with exam season and this foundation made such a difference, plus it covered up my uneven skin tone and texture really well, by far the best foundation I've tried for my skin problems. I've been absolutely loving wearing this for work or when I want my foundation to stay put because the staying powder is so good. I'm so relieved to say it didn't leave me looking like I was wearing a mask either which is usually what puts me off full coverage foundations.

The foundation also has SPF25 and is oil free, plus it's also suitable for sensitive skin which is good, I think this is honestly so good for anyone who has issues with the appearance of their skin like me, if you're dry it will still work really well for you and won't dry you out, just try it with a moisturising primer and it will be fine, but I also think if you've got oily skin then this will be a dream for you because it is matte and will absorb any excess oil. The best thing about it though is the coverage, anytime I'm having a bad skin day this is definitely what I will be reaching for! I know you can buy Vichy from Boots and this foundation costs £21.50 so it's definitely not the cheapest however I think if you have specific skin problems like me then spending a bit more money for a really good product can make such a difference, so I would definitely purchase this when I run out of this bottle. I actually do really like Vichy I feel like they don't get as much credit as they deserve because all the products I've tried I've absolutely loved. I've been eyeing up some products from their new Ideal Body Collection so next time I'm in Boots I think I'm going to try the Body Dry Oil and the Body Serum Milk because I've heard such good things about them. Bourjois City Radiance Foundation

Hi everyone! It's honestly been far too long since I posted a foundation review I absolutely love doing them because I'm foundation obsessed! I was working my way through my little stockpile though and started to come to the end of most of my favourites, and to be honest, I'm a bit of a foundation snob. I really shouldn't be but I will always go for higher end foundations however when you run out of all your favourites basically at the same time, I do not have the funds to be repurchasing all of them! So I set out to find some drugstore foundations that I liked so repurchasing didn't completely wipe out my bank account and a lot of reviews led me to Bourjois foundations. I actually bought the Healthy Mix Serum not that long ago and liked that but it was just okay for me, I did like it but it didn't blow me away. Then I saw Bourjois had released a new foundation, their City Radiance foundation and after reading a few reviews I thought I'd give it a go.

I bought it for £9.99 from Boots which I think is such a good price and mine is in the shade 02 Vanilla. I am the same shade in the Healthy Mix Serum so I picked that one and I think it's the perfect shade for me so if you're stuck and have tried a Bourjois foundation before I'd just go for a shade similar to the one you have already tried. The big downside of this foundation is that it only has six shades which isn't ideal if you struggle to find a shade match for you anyway. 

The product claims to be a skin protecting foundation with a brightening effect to leave a fresh and even complexion. It has an anti-pollution screen, SPF30 which is very high so great for summer although I will definitely not be wearing it for a night out as the flashback would not be good, and radiance boosting pigments. The description kind of sells itself to me, I'm always more likely to opt for a radiant glowy finish and it's actually been a while since I wore a foundation like this so it was lovely to wear it and have that finish again.

The packaging is pretty typical Bourjois, very feminine and girly. It comes in a squeezy bottle with 30ml of product, it isn't the most luxurious packaging however I love these squeeze bottles because they are so much more practical than a pump foundation and far better for travelling, so I would definitely reach for this if I needed to fit some products in my make up bag to travel. Also I just feel like you are able to use every last drop of product with this packaging, so it's definitely a winner for me despite not being the most luxurious!

The formula is kind of like a gel, I am a bit wary of foundations that are gel though because I think they can often go cakey, but this one isn't full on gel and it blends so nicely! It gives a light to medium coverage but I was able to build it up a bit on areas where I need more coverage, however it doesn't cover blemishes that well so I need to use concealer when I wear this. The radiant finish description is definitely accurate! I have dry skin, however I've kind of upped my skincare routine a bit so I am actually getting a little oily on my cheeks and nose throughout the day so I will set these areas with powder when I wear this but I will never set my full face. I've seen a lot of comments comparing this to Nars Sheer Glow and I can definitely see that however I feel like this foundation is a tiny bit heavier than Nars Sheer Glow. I don't think though that you feel like you are wearing make up which is a bonus.

The wear of this is surprisingly good as well, even though you have the glowy finish it doesn't rub off or move around straight away so you can get a fairly decent wear out of this. The thing I love the most about this product is just how healthy and fresh your skin looks when you use it, I get scared that I will look too shiny with products like these but I don't find that with this at all, I do get a touch shiny on the areas where I can get oily like my nose but once I set it with powder it's absolutely fine. To be honest I was actually surprised at how much I love this! I've been reaching for it everyday since I bought it and now that Spring is rolling around I think it's perfect for this time of year. For £9.99 as well it's definitely steered me away from the thought that I will only like high end foundations, I mentioned before that I've also got the Healthy Mix Serum however I prefer the City Radiance foundation by far so I would definitely suggest trying it! Vichy Dermablend Foundation & Setting Powder

Hi everyone! I'm doing a post today on a brand I had never actually heard of before however when I was contacted asking if I would like to try Vichy's Dermablend Foundation* and the Dermablend Setting Powder* I thought why not because I'm always open to trying new brands in the hope of finding new products that I might love. I actually did some research on these products by looking at other reviews and I found that they are quite popular with bloggers so I was hopeful that I would love them too! The brand has had a revamp along with the introduction of some new foundation shades and I am so happy to say that I successfully found a shade that works for me first time! This honestly never happens to me I'm so bad at choosing a shade for any brand and I actually got it right so I'm feeling quite pleased with myself.

Starting with the foundation I was actually a bit wary because the main focus of this foundation is it's high coverage designed to cover both minor and severe skin concerns. To me when I hear this I always think "this will not work for my dry skin", in my head I just picture full coverage foundations to be matte and to make my skin look so dull and flat. I actually find this a big issue for me because I'm really not happy with my skin, I have red pigmentation so it's quite uneven and I would love to find a foundation which covered this up well but still had a nice finish. I'm so happy to say that this didn't highlight my dry skin or make my skin look dull! Whilst it isn't the standard dewy finish that I usually opt for I do really like it, I would say it is a semi-matte finish, not totally matte however there isn't any dewiness in my opinion. 

The reason I was first impressed with this was because last week I was so ill, I had a cold and my skin felt so gross and red and I went to use a Bourjois foundation (which I love don't get me wrong) and it just didn't cover up anything because my skin was worse than usual that day, so I thought I'd try the Vichy foundation and it made such a difference, it covered up all the redness and anything that gave away that I looked ill! I can definitely vouch that it is full coverage, so if this is something you like I would suggest trying this because the finish is nice as well, plus if you're dry like me I think as long as you use a moisturising primer you will be absolutely fine, you don't need a primer that will give your make up longevity because this foundation has really good staying power anyway.

The foundation comes in a little squeezy tube, You get 30ml of product which is the standard however because of the packaging it's so compact and easy to take around with you so perfect for travelling, my only issue with the packaging is that I think these squeeze tubes can be a bit messy so you just have to be a bit more careful. 

The foundation definitely has quite a thick consistency but at the same time it is nice and easy to blend, I only used a tiny pump in the picture but you get so much product so I think value for money is so good, I got mine in the shade 15 Opal for anyone who is wondering, which is the second lightest shade and I am quite pale at the minute, so the lightest shade which is 05 Porcelain which is one of the new shades would be perfect for anyone very pale who struggles to find a match for their skin. There is 8 shades all together, so whilst there isn't a vast amount of choice I think there is something for everyone, trust me if I can find a shade to match me which I never can then it must be a good range!

Also I really want to point out that whilst this is full coverage it doesn't come across as if you're wearing a mask which is so important to me, I really hate that feeling that you have lots of make up on, I did find this to be quite natural which surprised me so it's also something I would wear during the day. It does have SPF35 so I wouldn't be inclined to wear this on a night out or anytime I would be getting pictures taken as no-one wants white flashback! 

I really want to talk about the Setting Powder because I really do not get on with powders, they always seem to give me cake face and I will hardly ever use it because of this, plus as I have dry skin I don't want to absorb any moisture that I do have! However I have fallen in love with this, this is 100% something I would go out and buy myself, it definitely has changed my relationship with powder and also taught me of what to look for in products that I might want to try in the future. 

It is a loose powder which I like and don't like at the same time, I find loose powders to be very messy which is annoying however makes it so fine resulting in zero cake face for me which I absolutely love! Even though it's white it also doesn't affect the colour of your make up, I know I am pale right now but I am not stark white and I didn't want this powder to leave that effect and thankfully it didn't. Whilst I do have dry skin after wearing make up for a while I always get my make up rubbing off and going very shiny on my cheeks and on my nose, so I have not been applying this to my full face just because my skin stays dry everywhere else all day so I don't think it's a necessity, however I have been applying it on my nose and on my cheeks to set my make up and it stays on for so much longer and I don't get the shiny face anymore. It does mattify my face a bit which I'm not overly keen on as it isn't my favourite finish which is why I only apply it on certain areas and use as little as I have to, however if you love a matte finish then you will love this. 

I was definitely surprised the fact I actually liked these products because they are typically the opposite of what I would go for, however it has encouraged me to branch out a bit more and look for different products that I wouldn't typically choose first because you never know what you might like! The foundation retails for £18 and the setting powder for £15 in Boots so they aren't drugstore price however they aren't a full on splurge, they are really nice quality though and if you are looking for full coverage or longevity then I would definitely recommend both of them, I have used the powder with other products however and I found it worked just as well, it is my favourite of the two products, whilst I do like the foundation I just really love the powder and I definitely think it will become an essential in my make up bag. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

Hi everyone! So excited to be writing this post because it's a product I've wanted for ages, it's been so hyped about especially for people with dry skin so I had to get it and it is the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. I really love Too Faced but I only ever really use their eye shadows but they have never let me down with them, and when they released their foundation and everyone was talking about how great it is and perfect for anyone with dry skin I was so desperate for it! However in the UK I can only get it online, I buy Too Faced from Debenhams and I never have any issue with this usually as I tend to buy their palettes, so I was really wary of buying this foundation because I was scared I'd get my shade wrong as I couldn't test it out in person. So I caved recently and told myself to just get it, I usually use Findation to match me to new products but as this is a newer foundation it hasn't been added onto Findation yet. I basically had to scour the internet for swatches until I found one I kind of liked, I settled on Warm Nude and....I got it wrong! How annoying is it when that happens! The most frustrating thing is you can't send it back because you need to test it to make sure it's right and as soon as you do you can't refund it, I see Youtubers from America talking about how lots of shops let you return used products if they weren't right for you and it makes me so jealous! I absolutely loved the formula though even though the shade is too dark for me so I bought it again in the shade I was going to get and this is much better, I'm stuck with two of them now so I have put the other one on Depop in the hopes someone will take it off my hands.

The shade I have now is Vanilla which is better for me however it isn't as perfect as I would want it, but what can you do, I'm not going to buy a third bottle! I was so excited to get it though, the packaging is so gorgeous which is just expected from Too Faced really, they never disappoint. It's really girly in a really pretty pink box, the foundation is in a frosted glass bottle although this doesn't make it too bulky thankfully and I love the gold writing, it's just too pretty! Plus it comes with a pump which is a bonus as who really wants to buy a high end foundation AND a pump for it as well, so thank you Too Faced! 

I absolutely love the formula for this, it really did live up to the hype! I feel like if you have dry skin like me then you need this in your life! It's infused with coconut water to keep your skin moisturised, alpine rose to brighten skin's appearance and improve elasticity and hyaluronic acid to make your skin look smoother. For me having dry skin makes finding a good foundation really difficult because all the ones that work give a dewy finish, I love the dewy look however it's not what I want all the time and it felt impossible to find a foundation that kept my skin moisturised but also not full on dewy, just really nice radiant smooth skin and that is exactly what this product does. 

Too Faced claims this is a medium to full coverage foundation and I would definitely agree, it has a fairly thick consistency and when you blend it the coverage is really good, only thing is it took a bit more work to blend but once I had it covered up the majority of my blemishes, only the really bad ones needed some more concealer on them. I'm always wary of fuller coverage foundations as I never want to feel like I'm wearing a mask but I didn't get that from this product, it definitely didn't feel light on the skin and I could tell I was wearing make up however it didn't leave me feeling cakey. It says on the box that it will provide natural coverage, I agree with this and at the same time I don't, it did make my skin look like it was in really good condition however you could tell I was wearing make up so I wouldn't say you would think I just had really great skin, it did look like I had foundation on, this isn't necessarily bad though, my skin just looked so much better and way more flawless that it obviously was the foundation. It doesn't make you look like you have a ton of make up on though don't worry! 

Biggest bonus for me right now though is that with the smoother, radiant skin it also covered up my dry patches which is a huge feat for any product to achieve right now as my skin seems to have lost all moisture this winter! Also my red pigmentation on the lower section of my cheeks was basically coverage up which never happens with foundation I feel like usually it is just emphasized as there is also light texture on the pigmentation. 

This definitely isn't the cheapest foundation at £29 however if you are looking for a foundation to help with your dry skin, that is medium to full coverage and gives a really nice satin finish then this ticks all the boxes, I'm so impressed with it! Definitely could be my new favourite foundation, I will have to use it for a couple more weeks to see if it can replace the Luminous Silk foundation but it's looking good so far, let me know in the comments if you've tried this and what you think!

Make Up For Ever HD Foundation Review

Hi everyone! I'm actually so excited I can finally write a post on this product as I have finally been able to get easy access to this brand in the UK! Basically nowhere in the UK stocked MUFE which meant having to ship it over from other countries which was just a massive chew but Debenhams have stocked it in some stores and online finally! I'd been wanting to try a new foundation for a while and I always thought this one sounded good and people were always raving about it saying it was their 'holy grail foundation'.

It claims to be an invisible cover foundation that 'combines flawless coverage and an extremely natural finish'. It is well known for being good for photography as well because it doesn't contain any SPF so you don't get a white face in pictures when flash is on.

Great news is you get a pump as well! I love the packaging, only thing is that it is a bit bulky, the bottle is quite tall so it takes up a little more room but it's not massive, you get the standard 30ml of product. When it came to picking my shade I was stuck as I absolutely hate ordering a foundation you've never tried before online so you are taking a stab in the dark at choosing your shade. Thankfully I put in two of my shades in two foundations onto Findation and it matched me up to N120 which is also called soft sand, this is described as a shade for medium-light skin with a yellow undertone and it matched, so I can breathe a sigh of relief. It's described as medium to full coverage however I would definitely say when first applied it is medium coverage but it is also buildable, I had to add some more product to areas that needed more coverage and it covered these areas great after. 

The thing I love about it is that despite being medium coverage it doesn't feel like you are wearing make up, definitely agree with it being an 'invisible cover' foundation. My main concern was that typically fuller coverage foundations tend to be more matte and dry my skin out more, however it didn't dry me out at all, I would say it is semi-matte, not totally matte but not dewy either, just a nice middle ground. It isn't the most moisturising foundation I've ever used but it definitely isn't drying. 

The consistency is definitely liquid but it isn't very runny, I found that it is a much thicker consistency than some of my other foundations however it is so blendable and I found it so easy to apply. As I am writing this I have been wearing this foundation for over 6 hours and it still looks good, not as good as when first applied but it barely needs touching up, just a little around my mouth where my laughter lines are so it definitely has good staying power. 

I took a picture of me wearing it this morning to test how it looks in photos and whether it lived up to it's invisible cover reputation.

I do think it is invisible cover foundation as I feel like it doesn't look like I am wearing a lot of make up in that photo but I'll let you be the judge!

I definitely would recommend this foundation especially since it is so much easier to get hold of in the UK now that Debenhams stocks it, at £29 it is pricey however it is such good quality and great if you want a higher coverage foundation that still looks natural. On the Debenhams website there is 23 shades to choose from which is great for people who have a harder time finding a shade that matches them like me. Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream Review

Hi everyone! I wanted to do a review on a product that I wasn't too sold on before actually trying it, the idea of the product seemed a bit too good to be true to me, however I'm in love! Before I went on holiday I knew I would have to buy a darker foundation anyway to match my face but I was undecided on what to get as I didn't want anything heavy or matte, I just wanted a light natural foundation. After looking around a bit I saw that Bare Minerals had come out with a product called Complexion Rescue and it is described as a tinted hydrating gel cream. The website states that it is a 'multi-tasking genius that combines skincare benefits and naturally radiant coverage in one.' To me it sounded like a perfect holiday foundation, good for your skin while you are out in the sun with a natural radiant look. It also says on the website that after wearing for a week you have a 215% increase in skin hydration. I was sold on the description because it sounded amazing but I was a little bit cautious as I was scared it would be too good to be true! 

I bought the product anyway from my local Debenhams where the woman working at the counter matched me up to a shade darker than I was so that when I was tanned it would be perfect, she managed to match it perfect as well I can say now I am tanned! For anyone wondering I got mine in the shade Natural 05. Another plus is that it contains SPF30 which is again perfect for a holiday. I didn't use it until the first few days in until my colour started to change but when I did I fell in love! It has surprisingly good coverage considering it isn't designed to be a full coverage foundation, yes concealer was needed over problem areas but I didn't have to layer the foundation as one layer was enough. It's got a really natural dewy glow and it just makes you look really healthy! Plus it's nice and cooling on the skin and feels very light. 

The colour looks a lot lighter on my hand because my face never goes as dark as the rest of me (sadly) but you can see how it's a thick consistency, not runny at all, full on matching the gel cream description. It's nice and easy to blend as well, I had no problems getting a natural finish. Another thing I love about this product for a holiday is the packaging, it comes in a squeezy tube which you can see above so smashed bottles will never be a problem. It comes with 35ml so just a little bit more than the standard 30ml foundations which is also a bonus. 

I would definitely say this is my go to summer foundation and I am considering buying it in my normal shade after my tan fades as I'm so obsessed! So great for when your skin is looking better and you want that light natural coverage that makes you really glowy and healthy, it retails for £26 so it is a bit pricey however a little goes a long way and the 35ml bottle will last ages! 

I'll put a picture of me wearing it on holiday below however it was taken on an iPhone camera so the quality is rubbish and doesn't show how nice the foundation actually is but I'll put it in anyway so you can get an idea.

Overall I'd definitely recommend this foundation, it's ideal for summer and it also made my skin feel 10x after wearing it for a while, the claim that it hydrates your skin is so true, thanks for reading let me know in the comments if you have this product or are thinking of getting it!xxx

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation First Impressions & Review

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while I've been so swamped with uni work but I thought I'd do a post on the new foundation I got while I was in London last weekend. I had ran out of my Estee Lauder Double Wear and I was so torn over whether to get another long wearing foundation as I think they're good to have and at the same time I thought I've got dry skin I may as well get one that is going to make me feel better long wearing or not! I went to Selfridges in London (the makeup hall is literally heaven) and at first I was thinking about getting the new Nars long wearing foundation but I had heard so many amazing things about the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation I just forgot about the whole long wearing thing and went for something to suit my dry skin!

I got colour matched while I was there because I feel like my skin tone is a nightmare to find a perfect match (pale but not at the same time if you get me?) and the shop assistant working there matched me to the shade 5. I didn't have the chance to try it until the next day but when I did I definitely agree with everything the website claims it to be!

First of all it comes with a pump (!!!) I feel like a high end foundation with a pump these days is sho hard to come by, it bothers me so much because you're already spending enough so you should at least get a pump! It's described as having a weightless silky texture which I agree with, it is better for people with dry skin I'd say however it still isn't full on dewy. I actually thought it would be a lot more dewy than it was, I'd say it was 70% dewy and 30%  matte, but it still gives off the luminous glow that it describes. The silk description is dead on, once applied if you run your fingers over it it does feel so silky, which to be normally makes my skin feel dry but it doesn't it's so strange the finish it gives but I love it! It is quite a runny foundation, I knew this before I applied it because the woman at the counter told me always shake it before use similar to Vitalumiere Aqua, but I always prefer a more watery foundation anyway.

Coverage is definitely light to medium, very buildable I put on another pump on areas that I needed more coverage and whilst it doesn't cover everything, for example concealer is still needed on blemishes it isn't sheer. It does have a slight scent, quite hard to describe but I always prefer this in foundations anyway but it isn't full on so for anyone who doesn't like scented products I still don't think you will be too bothered about this. 

So for anyone looking for a glowy foundation that isn't full on dewy I would definitely recommend this! Also for anyone who has to deal with dry skin like me you won't have any issues with this, obviously this is a really pricey foundation at £36.50, that's why I was so undecided but it does do what it describes and if you are after a nice luxurious foundation then this could be for you. However I do think if it is out of your price range you shouldn't spend ages saving up for it because it isn't a miracle worker and I think you could find something a bit cheaper that has a similar effect. This was a treat for me however and I do think it is worth the money so if you are interested in this I hope this post helped you out!
